This year was kind of low key for us. We carved a couple of pumpkins and went to the Trunk R Treat. We also went to the Boo at the Zoo with Grandma Bonnie and Grandpa Gary. It was such a nice day and it was so crowded at the zoo. The boys had fun seeing the animals and just spending time with G & G. Kegan was Darth Vader, Kaleb was Iron Man, and Mason was a little Bat. Mason really got into flapping his arms to see his wings move. He couldn't quite figure out what was attached to his arms.
Adam's office had a summer picnic and it was a lot of fun to meet all of his co-workers and to take a tour of the plant he works in but I think the high light of the entire day was to see the boys playing with the hula hoops.
Kegan really got the hang of it pretty quick but Kaleb was too embarrassed to really try. Mason even got in on the fun. The boys got to try rock climbing too. We all had a really good time.
With the weather being so crappy for the last 2 weekends in a row we decided to take the kids bowling. They had so much fun!! Mason got to roll his first ball too.
Ok so I just got done saying how Fall means that Winter is just around the corner well just about 10 days later on Oct. 12, 2008 this is what we woke up to...The drive home from work was a bit tense but I think I can wait for another month or so for the next storm.
Well Mason has graduated from the knees to the feet. He is running all over now. He is having so much fun letting the boy chase after him all over the house. His favorite thing to do is to run at you like a bull and knock you down.
