This year we had Christmas at our house because I had to work Christmas night. We really did have a good time. Grandma and Grandpa brought the little snowmobile and the boys rode it in the park behind the house most of the afternoon on Christmas eve. They had a blast. We didn't have a whole lot of snow the day before Christmas but we sure go a lot on Christmas day. The boys had a really good time building a giant snowman. It was just about as tall as Adam. Mason, Grandma, and I we stayed in and stayed warm.
On Christmas morning the boys got a shock because Santa had taken all the presents from under the tree and moved them downstairs. They we pretty shocked when there was nothing under the tree. We finally got them to go down stairs and they were so excited to see what Santa had brought. All and all I think they had a really good Christmas.
We went to Idaho for New Years. It snowed for 3 days. It has been along time since they have had that much snow. We played dominoes every night and Uno Attack with kids. Both the boys wanted to sit by Grandpa so they could make him hit the button. They loved to see the Uno game spit the card out at him. We had to go home on New Years day because again I had to work that night.
I think that we brought the snow home with us too. On Wednesday of this week it started snowing and it would not stop. I went out and cleaned the driveway out at about 10 am and at that time we had about 16 inches of snow. I went back in and at 3:30 pm I had to go get the kids from school and we had another 8 inches. We have snow piled up everywhere. Since we live in a Home owners association the city does not plow our streets. The plow guy didn't get to our development until almost 4 pm and as you can imagine everyone was getting stuck in the streets. What a mess. I think we will have snow until July.

Skating with Santa
This year I decided to take the Kids to the annual Skating with Santa that my office puts on every year. I have not been on a pair of ice skates since I was about 10 years old when I was trucking out to the frozen canel behind my house. The boys had a blast. They only spent about half the time on the ground. I didn't. I never did take a spill. It was so much fun to watch them try something new. Adam had to go to California for a business meeting so Grandpa Fred was going to fly dowm to be with the the kids later that night so I could go to work but flying standby sometimes is a real chanllenge. He didn't make it until after the big skate. My friend Charlotte from work saved the day. Her Mom was there with her and her family so Mason got to stay on the sidelines and stay warm.

Adam really does like to put the Christmas lights on the house. I think each year we put a few more up.

Christmas Chaos!!!!
Well Christmas has come and gone and I am now just starting to catch up. I think we were only home for one weekend the whole month. We traveled to Adam's sisters house for the Zick family Christmas party in Boise. Mason and I slept the whole way there and Kegan and Kaleb watched movies the entire time. Needless to say Adam had a quite drive.
Once we arrived let me say there was never a quite moment. We all had a great time and it was nice to see everyone.
